Cruise Industry News learned that the Captain of Anthem of the Seas had said, “We cannot change what has happened, but we are here to bring joy and happiness as best we can.” The ship also respected the minute silence on the ship, as well as its passengers in port.

France is America’s oldest allies, and so it was obvious that Royal caribbean would do something like this out of a mark of respect. Having said that, there has been a solidarity throughout Europe, with several sporting events holding a minutes silence as well in the UK.
