We reported last month that the Norwegian Epic refit was to begin soon; well we are now at the end of October and passengers have already experienced the Norwegian Epic improvements. She had spent three weeks in a dry dock to make some changes, and from the sound of it, these enhancements are going down well.
Some of those new features – now include Broadway musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert, The Cavern Club, along with several of the public spaces receiving a refresh, such as the library.
Other improvements made are enhancements to dining, as the likes of Moderno Churrascaria, La Cucina, Cagney’s, Le Bistro, Manhattan Room and Garden Café have all had extensive renovations.
You can read about all of the changes, along with some amazing images on the World of Cruising website. Not all of the improvements can be seen by passengers, as many of Epic’s systems have also been upgraded, such as Becker rudders, more efficient propeller caps, upgraded lifeboats and tender boats release systems, and energy efficient hull paint.
