The MSC Cruises Status Match programme has proven popular in the US, Italy, Germany and France, and so is finally set to be rolled out in the UK from October 26. These incentives have one main aim, and that is to encourage new cruisers.
From that date stated above, potential passengers that have a valid loyalty club membership with rival cruise lines, along with tour operators and hotel groups will be able to join MSC’s Voyagers Club loyalty scheme, which will then automatically match their current level of benefits.
The UK branch of MSC cruises are excited at the prospect of seeing new customers take advantage of this scheme, as they are certain to be encouraged to try out the scheme that could see them save money, and take advantage of some great incentives.
An example of the benefits – If you have the top-tier with the Hilton chain, then all you have to do is show proof to MSC Cruises and you can then get the top lever of discount. There are four tiers in all, Classic, Silver, Gold or Black where you could save up to 20 per cent on your cruises, which could work out into the the thousands, depending on what cruise you choose.
