Norwegian compensation following Star itinerary alteration

Norwegian compensation following Star itinerary alteration

Norwegian’s Star cruise ship had suffered a technical issue with its azipod propulsion system, and as a result resulted in an alteration to its itinerary, although there are expected to be no delays on today’s cruise out of Tampa.

On October 17 passengers were meant to call at Miami, and have the option to disembark, although could also stay on until October 19 for Tampa. However, she had to head straight to Tampa, and so passengers were unable to get off the ship early.

Thankfully, passengers were allowed off on the 18th at Tampa, and Norwegian Cruise Line had to lay on transportation so that those passengers could be taken back to Miami.

The good news is, those of you affected will have a cruise credit of 15 per cent of the value of the cruise added to your account for a future cruise.
