Royal Caribbean Manage My Booking issues

Royal Caribbean has been asking for people’s opinion as to their thoughts of the new website design. A few parts of the cruise lines website had already been redesigned, but most parts have now had the refresh. However, it would seem there are a few teething issues, along with the fact that some users would much rather revert back to the old design.

The latest Royal Caribbean update to its website has been months in the making, and so there are bound to be a few teething issues, but to hear that people are unable to access the “Manage My Booking” is a great concern, one that we are sure the website technical team has already resolved – or so we hope.

Three of the biggest issues with the new website design are not showing the full price, taxes/port fees included when you are in the “Choose your Stateroom” section. People are often shocked to see the price jump so high.

People are still irritated about the date selection process, because if you select a sailing date, it means you will have to be back by that end date, rather than being able to sail on that last date.

The post back is also a huge issue because it causes a page refresh each time a new selection is made. It would be less time consuming to select Caribbean, Voyager class, select dates, and then click on a Search button to show results.
