The Seabourn Encore progress has hit a milestone because she has just had her keel laying ceremony, and so we should now see the Seabourn Encore construction start to move at an increased pace, especially as this is a smaller ship.
This ship will only be 41,700 gross tons, will come in at a length of 210 metres and 28 metres wide. You would think a ship of this size would be ready in no time at all, but then you have to remember this is going to be a finer class of ship compared to what Royal Caribbean, Norwegian Cruise Line and carnival pump out.
The Seabourn Encore capacity will be just 600 guests and each suite will come with a private veranda, so no inside cabins here then.
She should enter the fleet in late 2016, and so still just over a year away. However, in that time we should get to see some of the many Seabourn Encore features being fitted to the ship, details of which can be found on the official Seabourn website. You will also be able to look over the Seabourn Encore maiden season sailings.
