Tropical Storm Erika projected path update for cruises

We can understand why people will be looking for Tropical Storm Erika projected path updates, especially those on a cruise. People due on a cruise that sails out of Florida this weekend will be more eager than others, as this is around the time the storm is due to hit the region.

The latest Tropical Storm Erika update tells us that weather system is going to hit Miami on Monday, and as such several cruise companies have had to make alterations to their cruise ships.

Carnival Conquest, Adventure of the Seas and also several Norwegian Cruise Line ships have had to divert to avoid the storm. Conquest had to skip two ports; these were St. Maarten and St. Kitts. However, it is those future cruises set to head out over the weekend that are touch and go, as Carnival, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian all have ships ready to depart between Saturday and Monday in both Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando.

Even if the storm does avoid those areas, there is still a chance that Erika could dump a huge amount of rain, which could cause issues for these cruises.
