You need to keep checking back everyday on the Viking River Cruises website for updates to your itinerary, as there could be changes or even cancellations. This is because the Elbe River level is lower than usual for this time of year, and so has caused a nightmare for river cruise schedules.
If you are due to go on one of these river cruises within the next few days, then you need to keep checking THIS PAGE. Having said that, Viking River Cruises will contact affected customers by email or phone to arrange an alternative cruise or a full refund.
Two cruises are cancelled for tomorrow, July 24. These are the Elegant Elbe onboard the Viking Schumann Viking Fontane.
There are also another two cruises affected for July 25, 2015, although these will be running an adjusted itinerary. Those affected are Berlin to Prague aboard Viking Astrild and Prague to Berlin on Viking Beyla.
From what we can see these are the only Viking River Cruises affected, but like we said, keep visiting the link above for updates on the situation.
