Harmony of the Seas booking concern for single cabin

Harmony of the Seas booking concern

Several Cruise Ship News readers have said they have a slight booking concern with Harmony of the Seas, as when they run a search for cruises on the new Royal Caribbean ship for 2016, and select more options, there is no selection for single cabins.

Do not despair though because all you need to do is go a little further into the booking process. So find the cruise you wish to go on, and then select stateroom. It is there that you can alter the pre-selected two adults and change it to 1 traveller.

The other good thing is that no single supplement is required, and all single cabins are located on Deck 4 either to the rear or aft of the ship – so no mid-ship we are afraid.

Harmony of the Seas single cabins is in two categories; SO, which stands for Studio Ocean view and SI, meaning Studio Interior.

One thing we would like to point out, if you would like to book a larger cabin, and are still travelling alone, then only then will you have to pay a single supplement. This price will be given to you further into the booking process.

I was looking at booking a single cruise on Symphony of the Seas in October 2018 and I would disagree about there being no single supplement on these cabins. The cruise if I were to go as a couple would be £772 per person (cheapest interior) But for one of the deck 4 cabins for a single person I would be have to pay £1161 which is £389 more? So in reality I am paying for one and a half people?
