Carnival's problem with plan your cruise tool

All cruise ship companies do their best to make your sailing the best it can be, although for those that have yet to even book, the likes of Carnival has a tool on their website that allows you to plan your cruise. It’s great to see that help is at hand, but maybe the company should have a chat with those that look after their website.

We say this because the Carnival Cruise Line Plan Your Cruise tool is not working the way it should. The section where you choose your destination is fine, as is the number of people you wish to go.

However, when it comes to choosing your date that is where the tool does not work. You have two drop down boxes on the UK website, these are the dates you will like to search from, and the other is the latest date you wish to cruise.

Go and give it a try because the choice of dates you are given are from December 2012 to April 2014, which is a bit late. This means that when you pick the latest date available, you will be given dates to sail from May 2015 to April 2017 – not very good at all.

The only way around this is by going through that process and then changing your dates on the results page – come on Carnival, get your act together.
