Disney Dream refit includes Star Wars themed area

Mark 26th of October in your diary, as this is the day when the Disney Dream refit for 2015 will be complete, and what a number of enhancements Disney Cruise Line has planned for its ship. However, one transformation that is of great interest to us is the planned new Star Wars themed area.

The themed area will be located in Disney’s Oceaneer Club and will be designed to look like the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars. This new play area will allow children aged three to twelve to join the Rebel Alliance and become involved in the epic battle of good verses evil.

Children will be able to sit in the cockpit, or in the area where we saw Luke playing chess. They can also get to express their creativity with a number of games and activities.

That is not the only new feature in this Disney Dream refurbishment, as there will also be a High-Tech Disney Infinity Space Adds Adventure for Kids, Specialty Sweet Shop for Families, Magical Makeover Salon for Princesses and Pirates and also a cool new Comfortable Retreat for Adults.

If you would like to experience these new additions to the ship, then you will need to book one of the three- and four-night cruises sailing from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas from late October 2015 through to 2016.
