Bookings for Navigator of the Seas cruises from Southampton will go live on March 19, 2015. However, this is only for the new 2016 itineraries and will take in various ports around Europe. In order for it to be welcomed by the British holidaymakers, Royal Caribbean has spent £50 million on its refurbishment, although cruisers are already getting to enjoy the new improvements.
Like we said, you will be able to book the new sailings from Southampton from March 19, which is this Thursday, where there will be a choice of 6 to 14 night cruises to destinations such as the Canary Island, Mediterranean, the Baltic and also the Norwegian Fjords.
Royal Caribbean has yet to share any pricing details or dates, although more will become clear on Thursday. We also know that the cruise line is to bring five more of its ships to Europe for the 2016 season, which is no doubt in retaliation to Carnival bringing its new Vista cruise ship to Europe for the summer months of next year.
The company is also trying to compete with P&O’s new ship Britannia, which will no doubt prove very popular to the British cruise market.
Speaking of those other Royal Caribbean ships coming to Europe in 2016, they will be the Brilliance, Serenade, Jewel, Vision and Rhapsody of the Seas.
