There has been a lot of work going on behind the scenes at Carnival Cruise Line these past couple of weeks, as the company has been swapping and changing homeports and itineraries for several of its ships, such as the Liberty and Breeze. However, it would seem that Carnival is not yet finished, as the Triumph Elation and Fascination are to also be changed for 2016.
The new location for Carnival Triumph will be New Orleans, which means Carnival Elation will be heading to Jacksonville next year, and Carnival Fascination will have to call San Juan home instead.
With these changes come new Carnival Triumph, Elation and Fascination itineraries for 2016, which Carnival has been detailing. They say that repositioning of these ships will mean passengers will get to enjoy fresh and exciting new choices.
A fine example of that is the new Carnival Triumph itineraries, as it now means passenger capacity will be increased by 34 percent from 2016, as she will work in conjunction with Carnival Dream.
We highly doubt this will be the last repositioning of Carnival Cruise Line ships, but that’s as much as we can tell you for now.
