With a huge amount of attention on P&O because its newest ship, Britannia is set to start her maiden voyage very soon, Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas took another step closer after she underwent her floating ceremony yesterday in Papenburg, Germany.
She is set to go into operation in April, although before that she will need to undergo sea trials, which will begin with thrust and stabilizer tests. If there are no issues, then there should be no delays, which would be a huge issue for those booked on her inaugural voyages.
The ship was set to be floated on Saturday, but poor weather delayed that until yesterday. However, we are sure it will not take Royal Caribbean long to get their schedule up to speed once again.
If you are booked on an Anthem of the Seas cruise, then we offered you details of how to find your way around the ship thanks to a map layout. This is a deck-by-deck look at all parts of the ship – well all the areas that are of interest to the passengers.
