Having already discussed that bookings for Carnival Vista 2016 cruises are already available, and going rather well, we never knew at the time that there is a rather attractive incentive for group bookings.
Carnival Cruise Line has a special promotion that the travel industry can take advantage of in order to promote the Vista to its customers. They are allowed to offer a reduced deposit for group bookings by 50 per cent, and travel agents will also have greater amenity points.
The Meet Up in the Med promotions runs up to and including the 28th of February, and instead of having to pay a deposit of $400 per person, this has been reduced to $200 PP.
Travel agents used to get just six amenity points for group bookings, but for the Vista they will get eight. The reason for the improvements is that travel agents have said just how important group bookings are, as many people use this as a chance to get together, especially if they have not seen each other in a while.
With what you now know about the Vista, will you be going on one of her first cruises?
