On Boxing Day we tried to log into the P&O Cruise Personaliser website, but for some reason were unable to do so. We put this down to being very busy over the festive season, and thought nothing more of it. However, a couple of days into the New Year we received a Facebook notification that the Personaliser page was still down and that the team are working to resolve the issue.
P&O has now issued an update on its Cruise Personaliser, and the news is not good because the service is still down while the IT department works on a fix, causing a huge headache for people wanting to book shore excursions.
While this is not an issue for some people that do not sail until later this year, spare a thought for those due to leave soon and are looking to double check their flight details, or to book a last minute shore excursion.
If you have not yet booked any shore excursions and are due to sail soon, then P&O says you will have to wait and book once on board your ship. This is a bit of a pain because we know how they can sell out, limiting your options.
We think it was a good idea for P&O to keep their customers informed on their Facebook page, but what of those not on Facebook, surely they should add something on their main website as well?
