The progress of the Carnival Vista has taken a positive step forward as construction has officially begun. The first block of her keel was laid yesterday in Italy’s Fincantieri shipyard, which means that the company should start to share details very soon. This is fantastic news, as this means the Carnival Vista booking date has now taken a step closer.
We still have no idea as to when Carnival will being to take bookings for Vista’s inaugural cruises, but this is unlikely to happen until they share official details, such as Carnival Vista deck plans, staterooms, activities, entertainment, restaurants, and destinations. Having said that, we don’t even know the ships homeport yet.
There had been rumors to suggest the Carnival Vista design will be completely different to other ships in its fleet, although there is a possibility that it will be of the same design, as we do know it will make use of many of the Fun Ship 2.0 features. The ship will have a weight of 133,500-tonnes and a maximum passenger occupancy of 3,954.
If you were to hazard a guess, what do you think the Carnival Vista itinerary will be, and when do you think bookings will open so people can make certain they are on its maiden voyage?
