Strikes could lead to cruise cancellations with no refund

People who have booked a fly cruise with the likes of P&O, Royal Caribbean, MSC, Celebrity Cruises, or Norwegian Cruise Line could be affected by the current Air France Strikes that are going on. When choosing a fly-cruise you have the option to let the cruise company deal with the flights, or do it yourself in a bid to save money.

If this is the case, then you are liable for any issues that relate to you not being able to connect with your cruise ship, and so cancellations relating to this will mean you will not get a refund from the cruise operators.

If you have a flight booked with Air France, then one would assume you have already made other arrangements, but if not and your cruise ship is due to leave either today, tomorrow, or any other day up until September, then you might find yourself out of pocket. If you do not wish to miss your cruise ship, then you had best make some other plans and fast.

Remember, this is only for Air France flights, so it is advised you check the latest flight information before you go to the airport. Air France suggests you should modify your flight. The company has said they are prepared to change flights, and in some cases offer a refund, but we do not know where they stand if you are left out of pocket due to not being able to connect with a cruise ship.
