How many times have you been enjoying a cruise, only to realize that there is no sports bar, or no way of watching a major sporting event? It was a couple of years back on the P&O Azura when the Grand Prix was on at Silverstone, but none of the bars showed this event. Thankfully, P&O has started to improve its sports programme, but nothing like Norwegian Cruise Line.
Norwegian Cruise Line has released its 2014 SPORT 24 programme schedule, and the list of sporting events being shown will give some of the other cruise lines something to think about, although we do know Norwegian do have some great sports bars on their ships, and so stands to reason why they would want to provide a crammed programme schedule.
We have an image of the full 2014 SPORT 24 programme schedule above, although you can see it in greater detail on the Norwegian Cruise Line website. One of the reasons why it is so full is because of Norwegian’s improved partnership with SPORT 24.
The first three months got off to a slow start in terms of sporting events, but it’s from now that things really start to heat up, and today’s Masters Golf is a fine example of that. However, June and July will be a busy period on board Norwegian Cruise Line ships, as the World Cup will be shown throughout the fleet from 12th of June to 13th of July.
Are there any sporting events missing from this schedule?
