Carnival Freedom refurbishment and new itineraries

Carnival Cruise Lines is continuing their huge push to bring as many ships up-to-date as possible, which is all part of the Fun Ship 2.0 program. Next on the list is the Carnival Freedom refurbishment, which once done will see her embark on new itineraries as well.

What makes the Carnival Freedom refit so special is how she will be the first ship in the fleet to offer Bookville, which is a superb area for children who love Dr. Seuss. This is a dedicated space for children to read and play in a world that has been inspired by Dr. Seuss, which means the space will have the strange, yet fun theme that we all know and love.

Some of the well-known characters from Seuss will be seen walking around the ship, such as Green Eggs and Ham, Cat in the Hat and many others.

Keeping with the Fun 2.0 program, the Carnival Freedom refurb will come with all the usual upgrades, such as Guy’s Burger Joint, EA Sports Bar, RedFrog Rum Bar and Pub, The Warehouse and Hasbro and so much more. You can find more details on this latest refit on the Carnival News website.

However, we can tell you that the Carnival Freedom will enter drydock on April 19th through to May 3rd. She will then add two new itineraries to her program, both will be 5-night cruises, one of which will call at Ocho Rios and Cozumel, while the other will visit Half Moon Cay, Nassau and Grand Turk.
