Titanic 2 keel expected to be laid March 31

Titanic 2 keel expected to be laid March 30

The keel for the Titanic 2 ship is expected to be laid this month, but with only a few days left people are now starting to wonder if all the reports that this is a PR stunt were actually true? Having said that, we should give Blue Star Line the benefit of the doubt seeing as though there are still 6 days left in March.

Possible Titanic 2 keel laying date – Okay, so we still have no idea if the Titanic 2 cruise liner will go ahead or not, but we have a feeling that it could take place on March 31, 2014. This would be a symbolic gesture seeing as though the keel of the original Titanic was laid on March 31, 1909.

It took 2 years and 2 months from the moment the keel was laid until the ship was finally launched into the water, which was on May 31, 1911. It was another 11 months before she started her maiden voyage.

The entire process is not expected to take three years like the original ship because construction of such ships moves along at a much faster rate thanks to enhancements in technology.

Do you still think the Titanic 2 will go ahead, or are you still convinced it is a PR stunt?
