There has been a great deal of buzz surrounding the new P&O cruise ship Britannia, one because she will become the biggest ship in the fleet, second is because she will come with many new features and thirdly, take advantage of some of the latest technology.
Previous P&O passengers were able to pre-register their interest, while bookings will not actually go on sale until March 27, 2014, which is a long time to wait. What makes it even harder are the number of new images teased, along with a dedicated P&O Britannia website.
The ship is due to be launched in the spring of 2015 and there will be an early P&O Britannia one-off cruise that will last for just 3 nights on a tour of Britain.
As part of this special event agents will be able to give their clients a tour of the ship to see what she is all about. The event will be held at land and at sea and give agents a chance to see some special guests, such as James Martin and friends.
P&O has yet to announce just what will take place on this one-off early Britannia cruise, but we do know it will be all about the fun, as well as trying to market Britannia in the best way possible.
We can tell you that she will depart from Southampton on July 6, 2015, and will take in ports such as Edinburgh, Liverpool, Dublin Bay, Guernsey and more.
