The Costa Diadema will finally be delivered to Fincantieri on October 30, 2014 and her first cruise will start on November 1. You will be happy to know that the Costa Diadema itinerary for her inaugural cruises have now been made available, with the first being named the Vernissage cruise.
Included in that first cruise are three very special ports of call, which are Dubrovnik, Genoa and Trieste, all of which are known for having beautiful architecture and a new yet rich culture.
You will stop at Trieste first where you will stay for just over a day, next stop will be Dubrovnik followed by Corfu, Malta and Naples, with the final port being Genoa.
The ship will then start her second cruise on November 8, 2014, where the Costa Diadema itinerary will be different on this one because she will stop at other destinations in the Mediterranean. Those ports are Barcelona, Genoa, La Spezia, Marseille, Naples, Palma de Mallorca and Savona, but not in that particular order.
Once those two inaugural cruises are out of the way Costa Cruises reports that the Costa Diadema will start her 2014 and 2015 winter cruise season from November 29 for a series of 7-day cruises in the western Mediterranean Sea.
