If you love your food and wine, then you will know that most cruises deliver both of these in abundance at a high level of quality. Azamara Club Cruises want to show their flair for such things, which is exactly why they will be the exclusive sponsor for the 13th Annual Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival.
The cruise line will sponsor “An Evening Aboard the S.S. Wolfsonian with Anthony Bourdain”, and while they will set the stage it is worth noting that Anthony Bourdain will curate a “unique dining experience” that will gain inspiration from cruise ship menus from a by gone era thanks to the Wolfsonian-FIU Museum’s collection of ocean liner menus.
There’s a number of celebrity chefs featuring during the event that include Eric Ripert, Francois Payard, Fred Morin and David McMillan, Andrew Carmellini, and Daniel Boulud. Bourdain will be working with these chefs to oversea the multi-course menu and will be joined by Azamara’s own Captain Johannes Tysse and Executive Chef Robert van Rijsbergen.
Any proceeds made from the event will be benefiting The Wolfsonian-FIU Endowment Fund and Florida’s Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management.
