The 100 days Norwegian Getaway countdown will begin tomorrow, and so we expect to see their Facebook page countdown to the first sailing just as the Breakaway earlier this year. The first cruise will be a 10-day transatlantic from Southampton on January 16, 2013.
However, this is only the build-up to her main itinerary, as she will based in Miami, with the first sailing from that port on February 8, 2014. There are bookings for the Norwegian Getaway 7-day Eastern Caribbean Cruise from Miami all the way up till April 2015, and you can book these now.
Because this is only a short cruise, there are not many ports she stops at, but they are still worth visiting. The ports are in Philipsburg, St. Thomas and Nassau.
To help build-up to the 100-day Norwegian Getaway countdown, the cruise line has been sending out details of their upcoming ship, which is a way to recap what we can expect to see from their second Breakaway-class ship.
There will be so much to do while on the Getaway, such as enjoy some great entertainment, a nice meal, relax in one of several bars, or let the kids have some fun while you relax. There is just so much to do, so visit the Norwegian Cruise Line website for more details.
