Today is the day where months of planning will be put into action as millions of people take part in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. We do hope the charity and the volunteers who registered to hold these coffee mornings will raise more than they did last year, but having already heard from various friends and organizations, 2013 does seem as though it will be an even better year.
We have known for a few months that there will be a Macmillan Coffee Morning 2013 on P&O ships today, and Craig Revel Horwood from Strictly Come Dancing has been on hand to lend his support.
P&O and Craig Revel Horwood have been asking passengers past and present to sign up, and we do hope thousands of you will support Macmillan today, who we know do a fantastic job supporting people who have been affected by cancer, as well as their loved ones.
While there are not many details about this, we presume that P&O were asking passengers on their ships to ask a few friends they have met to hold a coffee morning, be it those who are currently enjoying a cruise, or who have done so in the past.
It is not too late to take part and help show your support because we are sure you will know someone holding a Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, and so just contact them and go down to help raise money. We have all been affected by cancer in one way or another, so a few months out of your day will do wonders for Macmillan, as it will help pay for the nurses who do an amazing job.
