P&O Cruises names captain but not 2015 ship
Published on September 13th, 2013
Progress for the new P&O ship due in 2015 seems to be very slow for us sitting on the outside, but no doubt is moving very fast for those involved in the project. While we await some of the first promotional videos and images for the new ship P&O Cruises has now given the name of the captain, well two in this case.
Both Paul Brown and David Pembridge will share the captain’s role, who will take it in turns to lead deputy captains Martin Allen and Hamish Sunter. Also named are pursers Darljit Sharma and Keith de la Mare.
We do find it strange how P&O has named the team in charge of the new ship, yet have still not come up with a name. We would love to know what you think this new ship will be called, and if you plan to sail on her in 2015?
This is to be the largest ship in the P&O fleet, a move they needed to do because rival ships are dwarfing P&O’s current ships. Not much is known about this new cruise ship, but we can tell you it will be stylish yet innovative.
New Cruise ship 2015 itineraries – While P&O has yet to announce the itineraries for their new ship we expect to see them announce something in the new year, because they need to make certain the ship is fully booked up before her maiden cruise. One would presume that it will be a Med cruise, but we could be wrong.
Thanks to P&O.
