We all know how important social networking is in any business, even if you are a huge brand that has been going for years. Many companies have embraced Facebook, as it allows your current and future customers to get involved in what you are doing, or what you are about to do. So with that in mind we’d like to report on the Disney Cruise Line social networking milestone, as they have surpassed 4 million fans on Facebook.
This is a huge deal for the Disney Cruise Line Facebook page, as it proves the team behind the page is doing a fantastic job, if not people would not be getting the likes. This milestone was achieved yesterday, and there is no stopping them now, as they are already at 1004,800, although still a way off the next million.
Fans have been sharing in the joy, and have been expression why they like Disney Cruise Lines so much, with some of them saying how much they love Disney as a brand, to others saying they are the best cruise line, but would you agree?
They must be doing something right, as they was recently announced the No. 1 Mega-Ship Cruise Line in Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards for Families 2013 for a fifth year in a row, which is no mean feat. It seems as though the company is on a role, and all this when they are set to take their very first cruise ship, the Disney Magic and give it a much-needed makeover.
We’ve seen other companies in the past with a ship that is not looking its best, and still keeps her in service without a refit, and when they do it’s not a major one. However, DCL will take the magic and transform her into a ship that will be able to stand side-by-side with some of the newer ships.
