Carnival Triumph repairs completed, includes Fun Ship 2.0
Published on June 13th, 2013
The Carnival Triumph repairs are now complete, and the ship is ready to set sail once again, which is a relief for holidaymakers and the company. She has already arrived in her homeport of Galveston, and will soon leave to begin her five-day cruises to Mexico.
Carnival Cruise Lines has had to spend a massive $115 in repairing Triumph following the fire, but they also took that opportunity to make some much-needed refurbishments, some of which include the Fun Ship 2.0 renovation program.
Some of these enhancements include EA Sport Bar, BlueIguana Tequila Bar, RedFrog Rum Bar, Alchemy Bar, BlueIguana Cantina and also Guy’s Burger Joint. It won’t be long before passengers get to see these improvements, as she will set sail later today to Mexico, where she is completely booked up, which shows people still have confidence in the company.
Maybe it’s because Carnival Cruise Line understood the issues with some of their fleet, and has now acted to make several changes, which are part of a further $700 million program.
It’s clear to see that there is a lot of love for the Carnival Triumph, as people have taken to Carnival’s Facebook page to share in the joy that she is back. They are also exited about the prospect of meeting George Lopez, as he is said to be performing later today.
Let’s hope the upgrades make the Triumph an even better ship, although she was already great to start with?
