If you have yet to book a P&O cruise and was thinking of doing one in the next week or so, then might we suggest the Aurora, as she will be taking part in the Music Festival at Sea. Okay, this is not the best ship in the fleet, but she will be heading off to Iceland and the Fjords in a partnership they have with Capital FM..
Aurora’s Music Festival at Sea cruise is from June 5th and is for 14 nights. If you are a lover of classical music, beautiful scenery and a smaller ship, then this cruise is right up your street. Even though there’s just under a week before the cruise begins, there are still spaces left, although we’re not certain how long these will be available for.
Vantage fares start at £1,529 for a balcony, or £599 for a Getaway fare. We’ve already seen the suite sell out, although we have no idea how many staterooms are left.
There have been several other Music Festival at Sea onboard the Aurora, and those who have already experienced one of these events have expressed how enjoyable the experience was, as well as the ship.
Having sailed on this ship, we cannot understand why people are so in love with the ship. Okay, we get why people love the smaller ship, but it is long overdue for a refit.
