Norwegian Breakaway given hands-on review
Published on May 7th, 2013
The first guests were allowed onboard the Norwegian Breakaway last week, and as you would imagine we have been waiting in anticipation as to what those first reviews will be like. We now have a Norwegian Breakaway hands-on review to look over, well three in fact, and the first signs do not look as go as we had hoped.
Looking over these Norwegian Breakaway reviews, the new ship from the NCL fleet has been given a mixed score, with some of them being rated high, while others giving the breakaway a low score.
In the first review the Norwegian Breakaway was given a perfect five out of five in all categories, which does seem very strange if you ask us. However, the second review was a little more critical, saying this is not the way to run an inaugural cruise. The reason for this negative Norwegian Breakaway review was because passengers were not informed as to why boarding had started so late, and there was no special treatment for being the inaugural cruise, not even a free glass of champagne; more on this here.
Another review makes of point of the embarkation being disorganised, while there overall experience of the ship was positive, they did experience concern for the pools being a little too small for such a larger ship, although the Moderno, the Brazilian restaurant more than makes up for this minor issue.
Were you on the Norwegian Breakaway, if so then we would love for you to give us your hands-on experience, and if you will be travelling again on NCL’s latest cruise ship?
