Whenever we hear that Royal Caribbean is to build a new ship we are filled with excitement, this is because they often deliver groundbreaking features and entertainment, and Quantum of the Seas did not disappoint. She is set to become a fine ship in their fleet, and although she will not be as large as the Oasis Class that does not mean the ship will not be as good.

There are loads to do on the Quantum of the Seas, so you will have a tough task getting bored onboard. RCI ships are known for certain features, such as their rock climbing wall, surf simulator, and ice-skating rink, but the new class of ship is to offer even more.

Looking over the Quantum of the Seas main design specs, we have just one thing to say, wow. She will boast 2,090 staterooms for her 4,180 passengers. 373 of which will have virtual balconies, these are interior staterooms with real-time ocean view footage. 16 will be interconnected rooms, 12 studio staterooms with balconies and 16 studio interior staterooms if you are traveling on your own

Quantum of the Seas will be 1,141 feet long and 136 feet wide, and she will have a cruising speed of 22 knots. Apart from those activities mentioned above, she’ll also include iFly, North Star and RipCord.
