How many times have you been at work and thought what am I doing here? Many of us have done so at one time or another, and so feel as though a change is needed. That’s when a thought enters your mind to get a new job in the cruise industry, as this is the perfect way to see the world.
We have to remind you that it’s not always fun like being a rep on an 18-30 holiday, because you will not be allowed to get off at every port, only the days when you can take time off, as there would never be any staff onboard while docked in port.
Today we thought we would look at the latest news on cruise ship jobs for April 29, 2013. We can see eight in all today, with them catering for different skills.
These eight jobs are as follows: a vacancy for an Executive Housekeeper Relief Role onboard a 6 star luxury mega yacht, Corporate Travelling Pastry Chef to work for a 4 star cruise line, a Fleet Superintendent, but we have to warn that 33 people have already applied for the vacancy.
Royal Caribbean is looking for an Executive Sous Chef, but you would need at least 6 years catering experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel. Senior Baker for RAG Safety & Marine, Casino Dealer for Carnival, and do not worry about becoming stranded because the company is taking steps to rectify recent issues.
RCI is also looking for a Manager, Workforce Planning & Scheduling applicant, but the requirements are rather high. Finally, the same cruise line is in need of someone to fulfill a role in their Senior Analyst Sustainability Programs.
