There’s no denying how much passengers love the Millennium Class ships from Celebrity Cruises, so it was obvious that some of their older ships were to receive some of the features that makes these class ships so great. The Celebrity Constellation is to feature a number of new additions, which the company has called “Solsticizing“.
The raft of Solstice Class additions Celebrity Constellation will receive includes 66 new cabins, 107 AquaClass cabins, new verandas for suites, a much-needed upgrade to the basketball court and also Craft beer in Michael’s Club. All suites and staterooms are to benefit from new Reveri mattresses.
However, it’s the introduction of the iLounge that will appeal to Celebrity holidaymakers more because of a love we have for technology. For those of you who have not experienced an iLounge before, you can take classes on the latest technology, as well as a retail store to purchase certain consumer electronics.
Constellation has already received several upgrades while in drydock before, but these new additions will help to give the ship another needed boast, just to help make your cruise more enjoyable.
While some of us will want to go on a cruise just to get away from it all, there are some of you who feel the need to keep in touch with family, friends or even work, which is why the refurbishment will also include WiFi throughout the ship.
Celebrity Constellation is to re-enter service on May 15, 2013, where she will set sail to Miami.
