Yesterday saw the unveiling of the new Quantum of the Seas cruise ship from The Royal Caribbean, where they gave us a tour of the ship (which we will look at in another post) but also released the ships itinerary list.
First up, lets look at the Quantum of the Seas North Star, which is an awesome attraction designed to give you an experience you have never had on any cruise ship before. This cool new feature has to be one of the biggest highlights from the new ship, as it gives you the opportunity to see 300 feet in the air and experience a 360-degree view of the ocean around you. Don’t expect to go in the North Star in poor weather conditions.
If you head over to The Royal Caribbean website you will gain a greater insight into the Quantum of the Seas, such as the Bumper Cars, Skydiving Virtual Balconies and much more. You can also see more details about the North Star on YouTube.
During the Quantum of the Seas reveal, which you can see here, Royal Caribbean gave us a glimpse of the Quantum of the Seas itineraries once she enters service.
There’s a 12-night Southern Caribbean cruise, with stops at Labadee, Philipsburg, Bridgetown and many more. Then there is an 11-night eastern Caribbean cruise, a 8-night eastern Caribbean and also 7 or 8 night cruises, where the ship will stop at Charlotte Amalie, Basseterre and more.
You cannot book this cruise yet, but you can register your interest. However, Crown & Anchor Society members can begin to book their Quantum of the Seas cruise on May 27, 2013.
