If you have been on a Cunard cruise ship then you might have heard about the Cunard Insights programme, which has delivered some really insightful talks on a range of topics throughout 2012. Past speakers included well-known filmmakers, acclaimed actors, biographers, novelists, historians, politicians, and more.
Most recently the Red Arrows Squadron Leader, Ross Priday, featured on Queen Mary 2 and presented an interesting talk during the transatlantic journey from New York to Southampton. The talk had been named “The Best of British – A Year with the Red Arrows“, and saw Ross Priday from the engineering team explain his role with the Red Arrows.
Priday shared some important facts during the Queen Mary 2 experience, which detailed how the weather impacts displays, the safety aspects and why it is important to film every display, and also why the last year has been a massive one for the Red Arrow team.
You can see some more photos in a post on Cunard’s blog, which were taken while on-board Queen Mary 2 and detail Ross Priday’s background with a little about his recent talk. You can read a lot more about the Cunard Insights programme on the official website, which includes the guest speakers that could be on your cruise.
