It has been an amazing year for Disney Cruise Line and one that will be hard to beat in 2013, which is thanks to many firsts for Disney cruises. The year started with Disney Fantasy being the first Disney cruise ship to be christened in NYC (March 1), and in fact is the first Disney ship to sail into the New York harbor (February 28).
Disney’s fantastic cruise year only started with the Fantasy cruise ship setting some new ground, and on May 25 the Disney Magic started sailing from NYC. The itineraries included cruises to the Bahamas for 8 nights, a 2 night cruise that didn’t go to any port, and also the first time Disney’s Fantasy went to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia in Canada for a 5 night cruise.
The Disney Wonder visited Hawaii in May for a 14-night cruise, and the feature of this cruise had been Honolulu and a visit to Disney’s latest resort (Aulani). Since May the Disney Wonder has been visiting numerous ports along the Pacific Coast, but will make a return to Hawaii this October.

Have you been on the Disney Fantasy or Wonder, and if so what are your first impressions of these cruise ships?
