Norwegian Cruise Line’s private island, new VIP service
Published on June 1st, 2012
Yesterday we got word from Norwegian Cruise Line that a new service is available on their 250-acre private island in the Bahamas, called Great Stirrup Cay, which delivers a new VIP service and amenities called Cabanas on the Cay. This launch is part of a $25m project to enhance the experience on Great Stirrup Cay.
If you’re looking to escape to an island and benefit from a Cabana then you can do this with Norwegian Cruise Line, which includes a Cabana for up to 6 people. These Cabanas include a number of private amenities – you’ll find a shower, beach towels, a cooler, tables, and lounge chairs, and a lot more.
You’ll also be greeted with a fresh fruit basket and 6 complimentary bottles of water when you arrive, although it’s worth pointing out that this exclusive service has limitations with just 10 “Cabanas on the Cay” available. There is an exclusive menu on offer, all provided by Norwegian, and this will feature fruit platters, sushi, and seafood although you can have dinner at the Island’s BBQ and receive credit towards a beverage package.
Activities on the island include parasailing, kayaking, Waverunner, snorkeling, and even shopping at a straw market for those that don’t want to relax too much. To find out how to book and more details head over to the official website.
