Artist named for Norwegian Breakaway hull

It has been announced that Peter Max who is America’s most popular living artist has been asked to paint the signature hull artwork for the Norwegian cruise lines newest ship called Norwegian Breakaway that is due in April 2013.
Peter Max has a number of paintings on exhibition in hundreds of galleries and museums worldwide. Peter said that he was “so excited” when it come to painting the hull of Norwegian Breakaway, and to see his “artwork floating on Norwegian Breakaway” would make his dreams become reality.
Norwegian Cruise Line’s chief executive officer Kevin Sheehan said that Peter was the perfect choice considering the “Norwegian Breakaway will be making her home in New York”, and that this artist was the best person “associated with New York”. The 4,000-passenger Norwegian Breakaway ship has a number of great features that include The Haven, which is said to feature 42 suites, an exclusive restaurant, gym, sun deck and pool.
Norwegian Cruise Lines are said to be renowned for their Freestyle Cruising promise, so I guess you can expect a fantastic array of recreational activities. But if you are looking for a more relaxed cruise then of course you will still have the library that has a large number of books available for you to enjoy by the pool side and also plenty of retail therapy.
