First time all P&O cruise ships together in Southampton

pocruiseshipstogether

The last time you visited one of the docks in Southampton you may have seen a number of different cruise ships, and normally they’ll be from a range of cruise lines. One thing we’re pretty sure you wouldn’t have seen is all the cruise ships from one particular cruise company, but this is about to change.

Next year will see the first time all P&O cruise ships are together in Southampton, which will be to mark a special milestone. The special celebration is due to take place on the 3rd of July 2012, and you will be able to trace back P&O’s routes 175 years with all seven of their cruise ships being together at once.

P&O Cruises is giving away a 17-night cruise for two people, and it will be on the Ventura, which is a really nice ship. If you’d like your chance to win then you will need to enter their heritage caption competition by clicking the image below this article, and this will take you to the Facebook page for P&O cruises.

You will need to think of a really funny, although tactful, caption for the image on that page, and this image will change once a week for 8 weeks. The most voted caption would win the free cruise.

The “Grand Event” also features another prize. All passengers over 18 years old that are sailing during the event next year will be entered into a competition to win a world cruise in 2013/2014 worth up to £30,000. You can find out more at 175.pocruises.com, which also explains the history of P&O cruises.
