This week saw the Cruise Business Council use a little innovation to attract public attention, which was achieved by hosting an event at Charleston’s waterfront on Carnival Cruise Lines Fantasy. Topics included the effort being made by Carnival for MUSC Children’s Hospital, and how Carnival was partnering with Charleston businesses on a new booklet called “Charleston Insider Deals”.
Cruise passengers will be the target of this new booklet, which will also help drive income to local businesses thanks to Carnival distributing over 15,000 booklets to travel agents. The deals include advance bookings for dinners, tours, and hotels. Full details can be found here.
