Most people that have travelled on a cruise ship from the UK would know that the privately funded Southampton is the main port, but they are not the only city to want some of the cruise pie. Liverpool has plans for an improved terminal of their own, which would cost over £23 million. This is £4 million more than Southampton’s Ocean Terminal, and the bosses down south are not happy about Liverpool’s plans, especially considering the public money that is being used.
