Star Cruises announce new SpongeBob At Sea experience

Families can now get up close and personal with their favorite Nickelodeon’s stars thanks to the leading cruise company in the Asia-Pacific Star cruises. They have just launched their first ever Nickelodeon SpongeBob At Sea cruises in Asia on board the Superstar Virgo. There will be a total of 19 SpongeBob-theme cruises that will begin from the 18th November to 30th December 2011.

There is going to be a number of SpongeBob-themed entertainments throughout the cruise including meet and greet with SpongeBob, Patrick and Squid-ward, breakfast and tea with SpongeBob and Patrick and much more with the main event being a brand new 30-minute live show called SpongeBob’s Krabby Patty Celebration.

Ms Indra Suharjono, who is the Viacom International Media Networks Executive Vice-President and Managing Director of North and Southeast Asia, said “Creating ‘SpongeBob At Sea’ with Star Cruises is an exciting new way to offer Nickelodeon family experiences in the Asia region. We’re delighted to be working with Star Cruises, and look forward to giving kids and families’ new ways to experience the adventures of SpongeBob and all of his Bikini Bottom friends.”

Superstar Virgo entered service on 10 October 1999. This ship features 902 cabins with a Passenger Capacity of 1,804. Superstar Virgo will provide you with first class dining and entertainment. There are a number of great facilities on-board this ship including a business center that is equipped with the all the latest technology to help you stay in touch with business associates, Casino, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, shops, and Japanese and Indian restaurants.
