Royal Caribbean International have announced that they will invest around $300 million into doing up their ships and introduce the programs that passengers have liked the most from their award-winning Oasis-class ships.
President and CEO of Royal Caribbean International Adam Goldstein said “The Royal Advantage revitalizations takes many of the best features that we have created in recent years and introduces them across our fleet, offering our guests enhanced vacation choices around the world.”
This means that passengers will have a much greater variety of new on-board entertainment, dining options and much more. The revitalization’s started in may this year with the Radiance of the Seas being up dated and this will be followed by the Splendour of the Seas in November.
Senior vice president of Hotel Operations, for Royal Caribbean International Lisa Bauer said, “We are thrilled that the on-going Royal Advantage revitalization’s will result in a virtually brand-new fleet that offers the most contemporary experience, no matter which ship or itinerary vacationers choose.”
There is going to be a number of great enhancements to the ships over the next 3 years and some of them include outdoor LED video walls, royal babies and tots nursery, new staterooms and a chef’s table, which will be an exclusive experience.
I think that these improvements will be great. I cannot wait to cruise with Royal Caribbean again and see for myself what improvements have been made and also what has been added to their ships.
