Oasis of the Seas in a dramatic sea rescue

On Friday Oasis of the Seas was involved in a dramatic sea rescue as it made its way to Port Everglades. It’s said that passengers on board the ship noticed a raft in the ocean and informed the captain, who then turned the ship round to rescue the six men and one woman from the raft. They were then taken aboard the ship and given water, food and medical treatment before being handed over to the U.S. Coast Guard.

This is said to be the second time that a cruise ship has had to conduct a rescue in the last two months. Allure of the Seas, rescued nine Cuban rafters in May.

Oasis of the Seas features a guest capacity of 5,400 and has 2,700 staterooms over 16 amazing decks. This ship features a fantastic Pool and sports zone including H2O Zone Aqua Park for children and a tranquil poolside solarium area.
