Adam Goldstein is currently the CEO and President of Royal Caribbean International. Over the past month or so Adam has been able to answer a number of questions that passengers wanted to know the answer to, and has also explained the reasons behind some of the answers he has given.
Royal Caribbean have fantastic ships that are full of incredible amenities from rock-climbing walls to elegant dining rooms so your experience on-board is nothing short of incredible and all this would not be possible without the dedicated and friendly staff available to cater for your day-to-day needs while you just sit back and relax.
So what questions have you been asking Adam? The first question that I came across was “Why don’t you plan stops on certain ports for the whole night?” Adam said there are a number of factors that need considering before an overnight stay is considered in the itinerary, for example staying overnight in one port might mean that you don’t call at so many ports during the cruise. The Deployment team has to balance these considerations.
For those passengers who really do fancy staying over night in a port of call, then Royal Caribbean’s boutique sister brand Azamara Club Cruises feature two great ships that can provide you with overnight stays in a variety of ports.
Another question he answered was “Why do some of the Royal Caribbean ships have a car onboard in the Royal Promenade?” This is a great question. The first car was a donation by Richard Fain who is the CEO and chairman of the board at Royal Caribbean and was featured on-board the Voyager of the Seas. You can read more about why some ships feature cars in the promenade here and also you can get a sense of Richards enthusiasm towards ship building and classic cars.
