Thomas Cook cruises and guide to Southampton

Most people that like a holiday and live in the UK would’ve heard the name “Thomas Cook”, from cruises to fly holidays, the brand is well known for their breaks and travel guides that have been published for over 135 years.

Never afraid to try something new, Thomas Cook are now on both Facebook and Twitter, and they’ve just published their first guide to Southampton. Thomas Cook have published information on destinations all around the world, so it will surprise some people that Southampton has only just been covered.

The area is known as the main cruise port in the UK, and one of the busiest in Northern Europe. The travel guide will also explain what Southampton has to offer, from beautiful parks to medieval landmarks. You can read more details over on easier.com.

If you’re thinking of cruising with Thomas Cook, then you can visit their dedicated cruise page on the website here. They list cheap cruise deals, and what they recommend for the 2011 and 2012 season.

The Facebook and Twitter pages have a low number of followers, so we’re not sure if this has something to do with their popularity. Feel free to let us know on that one, what do you think of cruising via Thomas Cook?

One of the issues with the social media coverage is updates, they are only updating a couple of times a week, and the last few weeks are very sparse. This is not good for such a recognized brand. Who do you connect with on Facebook and Twitter for cruise information?
