This year Madrid, which is the capital of Spain will be holding the International Cruise summit on the 27th and 28th of October 2011 at the Meliá Avenida América Conventions Center. By holding this event Spain hopes to strengthen their potential as a Cruise Destination.
During the summit the entire cruise industry are brought together in one big meeting. At this event there will be shore excursion representatives, port agents, travel agencies/tour operators and of course a number of different cruise lines.
There will be a number of guest speakers throughout the two days, including the president for Spain’s state ports Fernando González Laxe and director of the passenger shipping association Williams Gibbons.
