Last week Royal Caribbean’s Radiance of the Seas went into dry dock at the Victoria Ship Yard in British Colombia, where she will remain until June 10. Radiance of the Seas is currently being transformed into Australia’s biggest superliner.
Managing director for Royal Caribbean Cruises Australia Gavin Smith said “Radiance of the Seas is already the best ship to be based in the region. What we’re doing is taking an already great ship and transforming her into a truly spectacular ship.”
Radiance of the Seas will feature six single cabins for solo cruisers and also an outdoor movie screen on the pool deck, which will show major sporting events and first-run movies. There will also be 7 additional dining options on board including Rita’s Cantina, Giovanni’s Table, Izumi and many more.
For those of you who might need to check in at work while you are away, you will be pleased to know that the Wi-fi is also being enhanced with access throughout the ship 24 hours a day. You can see a video clip of the ship being transformed here.
